Cetrotide and Ganirelix- What's the difference?

I am allergic to latex, so I was told I can't take Ganirelix. I am taking Cetrotide instead.?

Anyone know what the difference is? I am starting it tonight. Any side effects or anything else I should know about it?

From what I understand it is like the difference between Follistim and Gonal-F.  Different pharmaceutical companies produce the meds and they have minor differences but serve the same purpose.

Nothing really at all. Just like what LCB said.  Although cetrotide you do have to mix on your own which is easy.  I took both during my protocol. Started off on cetrotide (it was donated and then when I had to continue stimming we could only get ganirelix on short notice.  I didn't notice a difference at all personally except for the mixing. GL!
