Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I just do not know where to start. These are my last two big items to get. Also did you all get a playmat? Any suggestions on that also?
Wow, since ur having 2 not sure your best option, but you could definitely get one of each and trade off, I got the jungle stuff from Graco and it worked really well, DD loved it and will be using with #2!
I have heard really good things about the My Little Lamb swing - and also the bouncer. Since you are having 2 you could get 1 of each and trade them off!
As far as playmats go I found online reviews helpful. If you go to BRU and search for playmats you can click on each and see the user reviews. I'm not sure if they have playmats for twins?
We registered for this swing (liked it because it plugs in, compatible with Snugride infant carrier, and the swing seat actually comes out and acts as a bouncer, so it's like a two-in-one):
We got the Little Lamb Swing. I read the reviews and everything was good, there was not a bad review from either Target or Baby Depot when I registered for it. That being said, I totally registered for it because it is too darn adorable.
Also my 6 month old niece was in it when they came to visit and she still fit and it could still swing her, so that gives me hope that it will last.
I would definitely recommend getting some sort of play mat...Jack loves his and we started using it around two weeks old...which was sooner than I thought we would. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, this is what we have and its great because its portable...just zips closed to about briefcase sized.
We registered for a Graco swing... the seat comes out and is a bouncy chair as well. Obviously, we haven't used it yet so I'm not sure if it "works" well or anything. But I thought this 2-in-1 concept was nice.

Graco Sweetpeace Newborn Soothing Center
And recieved this bouncer as a shower gift (lots of bumpies thought it was super cute, and it was really inexpensive):
Fisher-Price Soothe n' Play Bouncer
For the playgym, I registered for this one, because of ratings and the manufacturer. Plus, the colors aren't bad.

Jack has this and loves it...

We got this bouncer
https://www.target.com/Fisher-Price-Soothe-n-Play-Bouncer/dp/B001HTNN3E/ref=br_1_1?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=13792351&node=13792351&searchRank=salesrank&searchPage=1&searchSize=30&id=Fisher-Price%20Soothe%20n%20Play%20Bouncer
and the full size swing to match. It doesn't show up on Target.com anymore, but I did notice that they still have one on clearance at my local Target.
One of my mom's friends told her she had to buy the baby a play mat because her grandson used his a TON. We got this one

It was a bestseller at both Target and BRU and seems really nice.

This is what we got. They all were reasonably priced and had good reviews. DH was really big on not having everything match.
