In the end, I let my DH pick her middle name.  I have loved Katherine/Kate for a very long time so I pretty much picked her name myself (he likes it, but definitely didn't have much say in it).  So I yielded the middle name to him and he picked Grace.

Katherine Elizabeth is my name too. For those counting, that's 4 of us in this thread alone. That's pretty much been my experience with my name. 

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a beautiful name-- just keep in mind that everyone else thinks so too, and your daughter may easily know 15 people with her name. (I know I did.) That may not bother you, and if so, go for it! It's a great name with tons of opportunities for a nickname if that's the sort of thing you're interested in.

When DH I got married I dropped Elizabeth and took his last name (my maiden name is now the middle, legally.) I like it much better now that it's more different. But again, that's just me.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Katherine is after my grandmother and I love it, but DH wanted to pick the middle name..then he realized he had no ideas for it lol. Hopefully he'll like one of these!
