My pubic bone is soooo sore it hurts to move even a little bit! I am on bed rest so it's not like I've been doing any crazy exercises. Anyone else feeling this?? What could it be?
It's VERY common... it's due to the hormone relaxin that your body is producing. It causes your ligaments/bones to be able to "relax" and stretch out in preparation for child birth. I've had the pain since 19 weeks and some times it hurts so bad I get tears in my eyes
A heating pad on the area works, ice pack, and tylenol... Some people go to the chiropractor for it also. The lower your baby gets the more painful it can become..
Yup I posted about this the other day, too. Felt like I'd been sitting on a wooden board all day - lying down on my side was the only minor relief. Couldn't walk, sit, or stand comfortably. My doctor said it was likely the relaxin hormone working it's magic and that it's normal! Fun fun! But, thankfully, mine has gone away temporarily. I'm sure it will be back but at only 30 weeks I was in a panic thinking I was going to have to deal with that for 10 weeks!
Ive had this since about 30 weeks, it's no fun. Some days are better than others, staying off my feet is the best solution. I also use ice packs, which are wonderful because they numb the pain. My Dr. said that it's pretty much here to stay until this baby comes out. I hope you get some relief!
Yeah mine feels like its cracking in half if I lay on my side at all or sometimes if I stand too long..I have resorted to sleeping in a recliner for the last 5 nights and that has helped a ton!

Good Luck!
Thanks so much! That makes sense. I just don't remember feeling this with my other two. This is extreme!
