I love shoes! Looove them! However I haven't really bought any for Madelyn yet as I can't get my brain wrapped around the sizes. What is the smallest size? A 1 or a 0? Is the smallest size equal to a newborn size? A 0-3 months? How does it go up from there?
What size have you bought for your newborn? A three month old? A six month old? Or are you just supposed to wait and see how their feet grow?
THANKS!
Re: **Someone please explain infant shoe sizes to me!!**
But what size are the 0-3 considered? A 1? Most shoes that I see don't have them set up by months. It's just a size number and that's it...
size 0 (0-6 weeks)
size 1 (6-12 weeks)
size 2 (3-6 months)
These are what Ralph Laurens baby shoes go by so I'm sure it's around the same for most other brands as well.
OK, here is a link that shows what the numbers mean in sizes. Just click on the printable foot chart.

This is my opinion. Plus my son was born with such big feet he never wore the newborn booties someone gave us.
