3rd Trimester

So, DH got his way

We will be moving closer to family (which I am super happy about) this Friday!

I spent all that time trying to get all the baby furniture and trying to get the nursery ready, only to have to take everything down, and move!

I'm not too happy about having to pack when I'm 37 weeks, and moving when I'm 38 weeks...but DH is hell bent on moving right this minute! We will be closer to the hospital though.

Oi! This is going to be a busy week!

Yeah...I would have too, except that I told him that if I moved right now, that he had to get rid of his HUGE 9 foot executive size desk...so he did! Now, LO will officially have her own room (which will make it so much easier to decorate all for her, without having to share space with her daddy)!

  • OMYGOSH!! I wouldn't do it!! I would hire movers and go stay in a hotel for the weekend.

We moved Halloween weekend when i was about 30 weeks pg..I WOULD NEVER EVER DO IT AGAIN. It was hell. I swore i broke my tail bone, my ankles and feet were soo swollen and hurt so bad. NOT WORTH IT. I didn't even move much and did the light things and unpacked stuff. I still regretted it.

    HIRE MOVERS.........

We're going to. DH wouldn't let me do anything anyways. He basically told me to just put stuff in "piles"...whatever that means! The main thing I'm going to be focusing on is getting LO's room ready. I couldn't care less about everything else lol!

I'm very glad about him getting rid of that massive desk though. I've been trying to get him to get rid of it for about a year now!

  • Stand your ground!! You will be very sorry if you dont. I am speaking of my AWFUL experience.

Aww...thank you! I'm really not looking forward to this, because now I keep telling LO that she needs to stay in there for 1 more week...and the more I tell her that, the more contractions I get. Right now, they're just really uncomfortable BH's.

This is probably the craziest thing I've ever done. I'm usually very planned when it comes to stuff like this, and I have it all planned out well in advance. Deciding to move and then actually moving all within a week...just screams that someone is having a mid-life crisis or something lol

  • Good Luck with the move!  Just remember, don't over do it!  My DH and I moved last month and I am STILL trying to make my way through all these boxes.  Thank goodness I only have a few (5 or 6) left to tackle.

Make sure that YOU take breaks often and listen to your body!  My back is killing these days and I attribute most of it to the move.
