when do babies get freckles?

LO is slowly turning into a red head (YESS!!!) like her daddy, and he is COVERED in freckles. and I have a fair amount.

When do they start popping up? I read they come from being in the sun.

Hmm, probably when she gets some more sun exposure. Sometime after this freezing weather leaves Texas!

DS1 had a couple by the time he was 7-8 months old. I never did figure out how early they can appear.

I was asking my mom this the other day.l I'm a redhead, and she said I didn't get many until I was around 3 or 4.

I am a redhead and didn't have any until I was 3 years old. I hope my DS'll get them because I think they're so cute!
