For those of you (us) on modified or even strict bedrest depending on your dr's defination, were you ever given the go ahead to go on a longer car trip?  I am ITCHING to go see my IL's (something I wasnt sure I would ever say) 7 hours away.  I know they can come here, but I was hoping to get there to have a change of scenerey. 

What were your restrictions if you were allowed to travel in the car and the reasoning if you werent?

    I was actually cleared to go to an event 3 hours from my home a few weeks ago. My restrictions were that I couldn't be the one driving, I had to have my feet elevated somehow and we had to stop every 30 mins for me to stretch.
