Tailbone pain after c-section?

I've had tailbone pain since I delivered my dd. It isn't terrible but makes it difficult to stand after sitting in a chair. I've heard of people breaking their tailbone during delivery but I had a c-section. Come to think of it, I didn't start to notice the pain until a couple of weeks after she was born. I haven't fallen or bumped it to my knowledge. Anyone else have this? I'm assuming it will go away over time?

I'd call your doctor because I only had tailbone discomfort right after baby was born. But 2 months since her birth? That's a little odd.

Ha ha- I didn't even think of that. Yes, this could also be true.

I actually was on bedrest since September- so I've spent lots of time sitting and laying. I'm not overweight but I guess that wouldn't matter- I've logged lots of hours on my tush. I can't wait for spring!!

I have the same thing and even go numb in that area after sitting too long. My OB said it wasnt anything to be worried about- more of a nusience.
