If your LO didn't or doesn't take a bottle...

How did you wean them to formula? I am interested in starting to wean my DD soon very slowly, of course. With my first DD, it was easy and she took bottles no problem. With this one, she WILL NOT take a bottle. Everything has been tried. I don't know what to do and I feel trapped.

    All I can suggest is just keep trying.  We tried 8 different bottles/nipples over 6 weeks before DD started taking a bottle, and then only inconsistently (the Adiri).  My daycare suggested a bottle specifically for reflux, so I reluctantly tried a Dr. Browns -- reluctantly, because this is the one we had started with and she never took to it very well.  This time she took it like a champ, and that was that.  A few months later we switched to Playtex Drop Ins because I got tired of washing all the parts, and she took that without a problem.  I know how frustrating it is, and the "trapped" feeling is awful.  I hope your LO gets it soon!  GL!
