David Goldman's fight to get his son Sean back from Brazil?  This is crazy! I can't believe the mother's family!  I can't believe the mother either but even after she died, the family sued him for ruining their name?

Ummm...I think they did that to themselves when they aided a kidnapper.

 It's so sad how much time he lost!

I'm not watching it but this story is big news by me...they live 10 minutes from us. 

I've said it before...the family in Brazil should thank their lucky stars that they aren't sitting in a prison cell on kidnapping charges! the whole thing is just awful. I'm so glad his dad finally got him back!

I'm watching this and it is disgusting that this was even allowed.  Thankfully his friends rallied around and supported him through this process.  Look at the lost years.  That mother's family is just unbelievable.

What kills me even more than anything is the moron stepfather is a lawyer AGAINST international abductions!  So, he represents people who are victims of the same sh!t he's guilty of doing? Un-freaking-believable. I just can't grasp how this even happened, esp. since Brazil is a country that signed a treaty that a child must be returned if abducted.

So, how did the courts let it get this far?

Well hopefully he and his dad can get back their life together and move on.  I wouldn't let those in-laws visit without police/supervision in a locked facility (and that is only if I were forced to let them have a visit).  I wouldn't put it past them to try to re-kidnap him.
