Hi there! I've been lurking for the past 5 weeks, and I feel like I should introduce myself so I can thank you all for sharing your experiences and knowledge! It has been really comforting and helpful.
I delivered my second daughter Adele at 30w4d on December 3rd (and I can't believe it has been that long already). We were extremely lucky in that she has had no trouble breathing, or any other issues than jaundice and a some A/B spells which are now very infrequent. Right now she's just working on feeding so we can take her home, hopefully next week.
Although our road has been very smooth, I've had the usual guilt over splitting time between my girls, and dealing with Christmas without my tiny one, and I am so grateful to all of you who have posted about similar things and made me feel less bad about the various feelings I have. I'm so glad you guys have been around to help me with this journey, and give me an idea of what to expect in the future, even though you didn't know it! :-) Thanks!
Re: Finally introducing myself
I am so happy for you that everything has gone so smoothly. I hope it continues to be so. And, congratulations if you get to take your baby home next week!
Very cute siggy pics. I hope she continues to do well and she is home soon.
Welcome and congrats!
Welcome
I love your siggie pics. Zoe and I are missing you and Fiona at the meetups! Looking forward to meeting Adele
Thanks for the welcomes everyone!
Susan, we miss you guys too! We keep planning to go to stuff but Fiona has been so sick this winter and we keep having to cancel :-( Hopefully we'll see you on Monday!
