TTC After a Loss

Sleeping issues during the 2WW

I've been stalking my own charts for the past 3 months and I noticed a pattern of lousy sleep during the 2nd half of the 2WW. I think it's from anxiety.

Does anyone else go through this?

Re: Sleeping issues during the 2WW

  • I did the past two cycles but this one I've been okay.  I'm trying to take a more zen approach to TTC this time around.  But at 12dpiui....I'm starting to feel the crazies set in.

  • I used to get very anxious during the 2WW, but after almost a year of them... my anxiety has decreased a bunch.  Try doing something calming before bed... or maybe ask your DH to give you a massage.  Works for me!

I wish! My DH gives the worst back & foot rubs. Have you ever seen the Friends episode where Monica gave bad back rubs? I live it. :)

Yeah, that is a funny episode!  Well... try doing something nice for yourself every day.  Personally I either get massage for DH or I keep myself so busy durin the day that I just pass out when it's bed time.  Avoidance is a blessing!

  • omg! This was so me! It is awful! Waking up too early, waking up multiple times in the night with that nervousness in your chest...sucks! Don't worry you will get through it. ?What helped me was knowing that I can't change anything and just knowing that I did all that I could do to get KU. ?Good luck!
  • yup.  the whole temping in the 2ww drives me insane.  if i get a low temp it totally affects my mood the rest of the day, not to mention i can't sleep b/c i can't wait for morning to come.  it's so annoying.
