DH got us in trouble at daycare. . . . grrrr.

Oh, DH. He picked DD up from daycare yesterday and said he asked her teacher, so, I understand Taylor's moving up to the next classroom? In front of another mom. He's sooo clueless. 

Here's the thing- there are at least two/three other kiddos in her classroom with b-days before hers. The asst. director was trying to do us a favor and bump her up a couple of weeks early since it's a tad less expensive, we're switching to 3 days per week, and grandparents are helping out. I didn't ask her to do this at all- she's just so sweet and made this suggestion on her own.

So, the teacher this morning said DH is causing trouble (in a joking way, but still, I feel bad). As I had guessed, he said this in front of exactly the wrong mom, who proceeded to point at the birthday board and say that there are a couple of other kids due to switch rooms before our DD. Oy. I didn't know I needed to be so specific with him and explain that it's confidential info- I'd already said they were doing us a favor! Oh, well. At least I'm friendly w/ the nosy mommy

LOL!  That is something my DH would do... sorry for the bad luck.

totally something DH would do.  He did something similar (with a different situation) just this past week...I was ready to strangle him.  He just didn't get it.  Oy...men...

Glad to hear I don't have the only clueless guy on the planet- not that I'm shocked, but I thought maybe I should feel guilty about not giving him a full debrief about how to handle this type of situation

eh- just chalk it up to him being confused.  She's going to find out eventually anyway, right?
