Our baby was diagnosed with what they are pretty sure is a CCAM. It is fairly small and has not gotten any larger so the doctor is just keeping an eye on it every 4 weeks and we will need to have it looked at after delivery. From what I read they are pretty rare and are usually harmless. I don't know a ton about them but if you have any questions, let me know.
My girlfriend's baby was diagnosed with this at her regular growth ultrasound. Her peri is not that familiar with it and wanted to see her monthly to monitor it and measure it. She did a TON of research and found some research study being conducted on it out in California. She got accepted into the study and her perinatologist is now seeing her weekly to measure everything and consulting with the specialists out in California. As of now, it does not appear to be growing, but she is being monitored very closely and will have to see how her pregnancy continues. Good luck. I don't know much more but if you would like more information I could try to get more for you and get you in touch with my girlfriend.
I'm still waiting to see a specialist to see the size/severity of it. 2 days and this specialist hasn't called back. I think monday i will just go in!
it makes me feel better knowing that you're so far along and it has not progressed. i'm only 20 weeks so they will be monitoring it very closely. did anyone say your baby will need an operation ;to remove it when he/she is born? that is very scary...it's even scarier to think that it may get so large that the baby won't make it.
