I feel like $hit

last week gabey was sick with a cough/cold and wheezing so I brought him in...  virus.   Audrey of course starts up with the same thing Sunday...  but its not horrible, no fever, she's playing, eating... a little clingy...

FF to last night... scream fest ALL NIGHT LONG...  I ended up sleeping with her in the big chair and half downstairs so she could be upright...  figured it was her stuffy nose... dimatapp, tylenol...  crap sleep for both of us.

Gabe trips and bonks his head on the window sill this morning which immediately bruises...  fabulous...  so i called daycare to check on them since Tony dropped off.  They mentioned Audsie tugging on her ears... so I called and got an appt for late this afternoon...  she hasnt had a fever or anything, but with 5 ear infections last winter-summer and an ent consult under out belts, Im not fooling...

we get there, and the dr tries to look in her ear, and she freaks out hysterical...  well duh, because her ear drum is ruptured. and the other is about to... poor lovey...  the dr didnt understand how she wasnt in more pain or sicker...  shocked she didnt have a fever... she never runs a fever with ei.

ooops... wasnt done.   so you can seriously SEE the pus and ooze in her ears...   my poor love.   how could I let it get so bad?  I feel like a terrible momma...

 the upshot, she's perking up after some motrin and a double dose of zithromax....  and sound a sleep no squaking...

Logan had a ton of ear infections that got to the point we didn't know he was having them any more. When they put the tubes in the ENT came out shocked he was so happy considering his ear was raging. I felt horrible too. I have a scope to look into the kids ears now at home. Got it at a med supply store. One of the best $50 I ever spent.

Poor Aud!  I already told you I don't think you're a bad mom, but maybe that's jsut so I can't be called a bad mom for hoping that if Nate has an onfection it's present tomorroe at the ENT and doesn't wait until Sunday afternoon to flare up.

I think we are heading in that direction too. Max has been the same way, all night. He cried for an hour and 15 minutes (SHRIEKING SCREAMING CRAWLING ALL OVER ME CRYING). It was AWFUL. I hope we get him in before anything really yucky happens. I have to call first thing tomorrow. But, like Audrey, no fever.
