I'm finalizing a blog post for work, and I'm having issues because I'm so tired I'm seeing double. And I just came back from a work event where I drank 4 glasses of wine.
Anyone want to take a look at it for me and tell me if it sounds alright?
Well, since "alright" isn't a real word, I'm going to say no, because I'm guessing that editing a whole blog post by you would be too hard work for this time of the evening.

"Alright" is a word. And at least her sentences were sensical...more than I can say for

thanks guys. I just need to know if this makes sense. And it's somewhat conversational, so it doesn't have to be too formal:
...The GSEs could indeed use more oversight and controls. I?m actually surprised this issue didn?t come to the forefront sooner; the rate of growth both Fannie and Freddie have experienced over the past few years is in itself somewhat suspect, although the same could be said of many companies in the US that experienced rapid growth over the same period.
But Fannie and Freddie are certainly not the only ones to blame. Sure, there?s a lot of finger-pointing now that we?re feeling the effects of the downturn, but the enterprises were viewed through rose-tinted glasses during the halcyon days of the housing boom.
If we are to turn our attention to the GSEs and move toward reform measures, I think it?s just as important to enact similar measures in the overall finance industry. The aggressive brokers and intermediaries, as well as the countless overeager borrowers, are as much to blame for our current turmoil as the capital sources...
And, happ -- I have a journalism degree and have not been consuming anything mind-altering this evening. If you'd like me to take a look, you can email me at jaybeeimages at yahoo dot com.

since we are on the subject of grammar, shouldn't there be some periods in this?
i know your editing is done by now. i have to say i was quite amused by gibs comment. it seemed so not well thought out. you ever notice sometimes she/he/it is on attack and run practice and is downright shoddy on the attack. perhaps maybe the need to run. maybe it's just me.

Re: any grammar/editing folks here?
wtf are you talking about?
gibs, you are asinine. Try opening a dictionary. It is a word, you dolt.
And anyone else, it's just 2 paragraphs.
