Show me your travel systems/strollers!

If you already bought your travel systems (or know which one you're going to buy), please show them to me!!

There was one that I loved, and was about to buy.... well, i found out it got recalled. It was seriously the only one I liked too, after looking at so many different ones. Now I don't know where to begin.

Re: Show me your travel systems/strollers!

  • I have different needs (twins), but we're going with the Baby Trend Double Snap n' Go for infant carriers, and the Maclaren Twin Techno (in black) for their "grown-up" stroller :)  We travel alot so light and handy is important.

  • The chicco cortina travel system with the keyfit 30 carseat.

  • It really depends on how much you plan on using the stroller and what kinds of places you plan on using it. I'm planning on getting the Graco Snugride 32 carseat and the Graco stroller frame. When the baby is big enough for a "real" stroller, I'm looking at getting a Maclaren Volo. I've read that the strollers that come with true travel systems aren't very durable and may not make it for more than one kid (unless you rarely use it, of course). Plus, they seem really bulky, and I will only need a basic stroller for mall/shopping type use.

This.  Cubes pattern.  Graco Snugfit was top rated by Consumer Reports in 2009 and Chicco Cortina was in the Top 5.

  • We have the Graco Alano travel system in the Dot Swirl pattern. They don't make that pattern anymore, but they still make the travel system in different patterns.

  • We are planning on getting the Baby Jogger City Select

It just came out this month & we love it! We hope to have another kido when this one is around 2 so I love that I won't have to sell a stroller and buy a seperate double! It has so many functions (scroll to bottom to see). We will be using the Chico Keyfit carseat with adapter as a snap-n-go when the baby is small.

  • Think I will buy this one if it's a girl.  If it's a boy same one but different color.

  • I didn't buy a travel system per se, I made one.  Graco Metrolite Stroller in Platinum and matching Snugride.

We decided to go with the Metrolite because its light weight - only 18 lbs, folds/opens upright, compact when folded, still has features like a snack tray for baby & parent & big basket underneath for stuff, rubber tires that move in all directions, brakes on front & back, narrow to get through stores,etc...

ETA: My BFF received a Graco Quattro Tour (#1 rated stroller by consumer reports right now) travel system as a gift.  She used that travel system through 3 kids and it is still going strong.

  • We've been given a Graco Snugride carseat for free from a friend (no accidents, checked expir date, still fits standards etc). Therefore,we're getting the Graco Lite Rider in Pippin. It is perfect bc it accepts all Graco carseats as snapons. It is under 20lbs and easy to maneuver. My favorite feature so far is that the snack tray for baby is removable, so for trips to the zoo or whatever when baby is older, I take of the snack tray and voila! umbrella stroller!
  • We have the Chicco Courtina TS in Discovery.  I just did a post about my favorite baby things and there's a link in my blog =)
