I have heard that if you feel yourself getting sick you should dip a q-tip in hydrogen peroxide and clean out your nostrils and ears with it (well multiple q-tips obvs, using just one for all that would be gross.) Something about it killing the virus? Let me know, I can feel myself getting sick and I am ready to jam those suckers up there.

I have heard that with salt water.  Also, my G'ma swears by gargling with it.  She must be doing something right, she has been sick in over a year.
