I had my 24(ish) week appointment at a new OB/GYN yesterday. The hospital works with nurse midwives and I was able to meet with one who was willing to take me on!
I'd been leaning towards working with a midwife and The Husband was really uncomfortable with a home delivery. Luckily we heard about a hospital less than two hours away that has several midwives on staff.
I was referred to a high-risk OB/GYN because of my medical history, even though nothing has been wrong or even questionable with either me or the baby. I had been concerned that a midwife wouldn't be willing to work with me because of this.. but she said I seemed like a perfect candidate.

I'm also super excited because they decided to give me a third ultrasound, just so they'd have a chance to check the baby out themselves. So in just a few weeks I get to see Version 2.0 again!
