Has your sprout sprouted a tooth yet?

I have beeen checking everyday because miss drooly girl seems so itchy fussy and keeps gnawing on her little fist!

She just barely turned 5 months old.

Alas--some friends babies have one or two teeth already!!  I am slightly jealous..but at the same time (nursing wise) I am relieved she hasn't gotten one yet! lololol...

I have a teether--but she still doesn't seem to interested in it. :-(

  • We are in the same department as you right now.  Soaking wet every day.  Fussy, squirmy, the works.  Doesn't want teethers, cold rags...she sucks on my shoulders and is giving me hickies!!!!  I want this tooth to get here already although I know we still have a lot more to go after the first one makes an appearance.

  • Miles didn't get his first tooth till after six months, but he was a chewy, drooly mess after about three months.  :)  There in there somewhere!
  • Both of my kids got their 1st tooth at close to exactly 7 months of age.  Alana was really drooly for quite awhile.  BUT- then again- some kiddos get their teeth REALLY early....  Don't worry so much about BF-ing a baby w/ teeth.  It works out!  :)
  • K started teething off and on around 5-6 months but her first tooth didn't appear until just after 8 months. So far BFing hasn't been a problem. She did bite me once but she's been nice and gentle since then.

  • I think E got her first 2 teeth at the same time, right at 8 months. She started gnawing on her fist about 5 months. The doc said that is how babies learn by drooling and mouthing everything and that can start at 5 months.
  • dd is drooling up a storm, gnawing on anything that she can get into her mouth and SCREAMING in pain out of the blue .. yeah we're in the throws of teething minus the actual teeth cutting through.

sleep for me is short commodity these days *yawn*

  • MY DS did not get a tooth until 10 months exactly.  I thought he was teething early on and he wasn't - but drooling and fussy and chewing on stuff.
