A few hours in a surgery center, three holes in my belly later, and I'm home! I requested McDonald's on the way home and scarfed down my food, so the anti-nausea meds they gave me must have worked.
DD is coping pretty well and I actually feel pretty darn good. They said I'd feel loopy today, but I feel pretty normal. I've only taken one pain pill, one Percocet (oxycodone? isn't that Percocet?) and it didn't make me feel any better, so I'm done with those. Really, the hardest thing is catching my breath.
DH is getting DD ready for bed - we'll so how that goes - and I think I'm going to veg for a few hours in front of the TV, what a treat!!

Oh, and they gave me PICS of my hernia. DH was appalled but I think it's awesome.

Glad everything went well. Definitely take it easy and veg out as much as you want!
Oh, and I would think the hernia pics were awesome too...and my DH would also be appalled. LOL.
