Need advice

I am the MOH in my friends wedding in May. Should I tell her now or as soon as I get pregnant, rather than waiting till I felt I wanted the world to know?

This is yet another of the stupid reasons why I felt hesitant to TTC, but someone elses wedding isn't really a good reason to not do something DH & I want. But I need to buy my dress pretty soon, so do I just keep my plans to myself or be upfront with her?

She can be somewhat of a bridezilla, so I'm prepared for her to be a little taken aback by this if/when I tell her.

Of course, this could all be a pointless worry if I dont get pregnant in the next few months.

You could just let her know you might ne pregnant by may. So if you get pregnant will it really matter to her that you are in her wedding?

I would go with the TTC plans you have, and tell her when you get KU, or feel ready to tell her.  If it happens sooner than later and it affects the dress is the only issue, and it shouldn't be a big one.  She should be happy for you.

I wouldn't say anything until you were pregnant...the baby would be due well after the wedding - so, it wouldn't really effect anything but the size of the dress that you will be wearing...

Tell her when you get pregnant.  Even if you got KU right away, you probably wouldn't be showing much by May anyways.

I guess it depends on the dress for me. If its a dress that could be altered easily to accommodate a baby belly at 5 months (at most) than I wouldn't mention anything at all until you were KU

Ditto. If she's already bridezilla, no reason to sound the alarms prematurely.

You could also try buying a dress one size larger than what you need and then have it tailored as the wedding draws nearer, if you're paranoid.
