He wants to start putting away money for Kate and Jefferson's wedding days.  If Jefferson marries someone whose parents want to pay for most of the wedding, he wants to give the wedding money as a present for a down payment on a house.

And, he wants Kate to have the best wedding ever since our wedding day was waaaay stressful and not really that enjoyable.  He doesn't want Kate to go through that.

haha! Mel, it's nothing too dramatic, really.  Just too much input during the planning, too many people invited, my photos aren't at all what I wanted, we were moving to Canada a week after we were married and I was horribly emotional about leaving my family.  Our wedding felt like the last horrah before my life changed dramatically=P
