    Everything is looking good. Babies will be here a week from Friday! If not before. I am so excited! 

     QOTD: So far my pregnancy has been relatively easy and that has surprised me. I figured with twins it would be much more difficult. Maybe I'm in for it next time.

    The babies looked good this week...estimated at 2lb, 15oz & 3lb, 5oz.  Right around where they should be.  Cervix shortened though...therefore had to have my first NST to make sure things were OK, which they were.

    Developed killer pubic bone pain...I'm miserable now, though fine so long as I don't try to move.

    QOTD:  Pregnancy in general surprised me...I definitely wasn't aware of half the stuff involved.

    33 weeks and counting! My doc hopes I go at least 2 more weeks!

     

    I was surprised at how sick I was my first tri.....ehhhhh!!! lol

    Everything is going really well- I go in for my 20 wk ultrasound on Monday.

    QOTD: I have been most suprised by how easy it has been.  My sister had unexplicable pain for the entirety of her first pregnancy- her body would seize up and she would just sob.... I was terrified I would get that and it would be worse from twins but overall I feel great.

    I know I'm heading into the "harder" part now but I'm just going to keep a positive attitude and trek on through!

    Question of the day: The fact that I was having twins was a pretty big surprise! It is amazing how different this pregnancy is than my first and I'm not even very far along yet.

    I just got over bronchitis, so I'm feeling better and back at work. It was nice to be in bed, but it got pretty boring the last couple of days!

    QOTD:  I'm surprised by how much help I need, even as early on as now.  If DH didn't help me clean the house, do laundry, etc. it would take FOREVER.  My energy has not increased and I can't tackle as many things as I used to!

    Update:  Had my 1-hour glucose test today, hope I passed.  Other than that, both babies flipped to breech in the last 2 weeks.  :(  I hope they move back.  The GREAT news is that despite the mountains of BHs, my cervix is holding strong at 5 cm! 

    QOTD:  How huge I have gotten at 6 months (measuring 8 months) and how hard it is.  People recently started asking me whether my due date is "soon."  I say "yes, if you consider 3 months soon."

    I went for my 12wk appt yesterday - both babies are developing perfectly and we are SO relieved!!! It was so exciting to see the babies again on ultrasound, they have gotten so much bigger than the last time we saw them and were waving their arms around. Just as the Dr. was about to start taking some pics for us, baby "A" flipped upside down and backward just showing off his/her spine, whereas baby "B" stayed relatively still giving us a perfect profile shot. I'm already in love!!!

    QOTD: So far the biggest surprise is that I'm almost into the 2nd trimester and haven't gained any weight so far (I actually lost 3lbs as compared to my 8wk appt). I don't even have much of a bump either, only look pregnant after eating dinner...lol

    My next appointment is Tuesday and I finally get to meet with the peri.   They think, but aren't totally sure that we have GG twins and a B fraternal triplet.

    What is one thing that really has suprised you about your pregnancy?

    I'm still in shock that we are having multiples.

    I feel great! I think that not working (recently had to take leave, OB's orders) has made this easier. I do however tire quickly and sometimes that scares me. Ex: up washing dishes or laundry 10-15 mins and HAVE to sit down for an equal amount of time. I think this is normal, my body is getting used to these heavy babies! Made it to 27 weeks! I am so excited! EVERY week for me is a BLESSING....I will be receiving steroid shots between 28-30 weeks (prob 28-ish, I had DS at 29 wks)

    Ha ha does having TWINS count? Honestly I was surprised as HE!!. DH and I are so excited about our Peanuts! <3 I am also surprised at how easy it has been preparing DS for the babies. He is really excited too! All he does is talk about Mackayla and Braylon, talk to them in my belly and hug/kiss them, and talk to their u/s pics that are posted on fridge (all 16 of the by HIS request lol)

    Anything new that you'd like to share? New appt? I had my 1st Ob appt yesterday and it went wonderfully.  I found out my doctor knows Dr. Barbara Luke (When your Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads).  She was my doctors mentor while she was in school.  She didn't like Dr. Luke then but has the at most respect for her now.  And was glad I was reading her book.  I will be seeing my babies every appt via U/S and then at 20 weeks I will start seeing a high risk OB for my U/S's. 

                                   ~Question of the day~

    What is one thing that really has suprised you about your pregnancy? That everything is going so smoothly...knock on wood.  I know that could change with a switch of a hat.  But right now I'm very grateful on how well my pregnancy is going. Thank you Lord!!

    QOTD, being so tired and nauseous has been a big surprise, but the biggest surprise so far is that I am measuring "well into the 3rd Trimester" according to the Peri at my 18 week appointment.  How big am I going to get, lol.  They said the babies are both measuring big so that is great and I love them both so much already!!

    Had a good appt today.  I have a tentative "due date" (either vbac or C/S) scheduled for 2/5!!  I'll be 39w1d.  But my OB said I could very likely go before that.  I guess we'll see!

    My next (and final) MFM appt is next Thursday and I can't wait!  I haven't had an U/S in over 5 weeks now, and I'm so anxious to see how the babies are growing.

    Swelling in my feet and ankles is out of control, but so far I have escaped pre-e.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

     

    What is one thing that really has suprised you about your pregnancy?

    How laid back my Drs are about twins.  I'm very low risk, but I'm still surprised that my care timeline is still pretty much the same as my singleton son.

    Things here are going well.  I still don't really feel pregnant most days. Except that I'm starving all the time. I have my next appt on 1/12.  And my next u/s on 1/20.  Can't wait to see the LOs again.

    My biggest suprise so far is that my m/s is not extreme.  It was kind of bad for like a week or so (4w-5.5w) but has since pretty much disappeared.  I had my first u/s after it went away, so I'm not too worried. Had I not seen the hb's after the m/s went away I would be freaking.  Hopefully the whole pregnancy is this uneventful.

    Doing pretty well here, although I have started having some bad back pain at night, which is preventing me from getting good sleep.

    QOTD:  What surprised me most is how TIRED I feel these past few weeks.  My job involves being on my feet for long days , and I am just so exhausted!
