My sister kept raving about Mrs. Meyer's products but I just can't justify the cost. We have really gotten to the point where we use Dr. Bronner's, vinegar, baking soda and maybe some borax or Bac-out when necessary.
But with dish washing (hand and machine) we still buy product. We like our hand-washing dish liquid (we are currently using Biokleen but usually buy Earth Friendly Products) but for the machine, we have had the most success with Seventh Generation powder but aren't in lurve. So my sister bought us Mrs. Meyer's liquid as a Christmas gift.
OMG the scent is intense! I could smell geraniums on the second floor of the house when the machine was running! I had the machine running when I left for work so not sure the results. Reading online, they try to use as many natural ingredients as possible, but do add a synthetic to their plant-derived scents. There are mixed reviews (as there seems to be with all EF products) on how EF the brand is.
Any users? Is this stuff really worth the cost? And if you are a major fan of some machine liquid, can you let me know the brand? Thanks!
Re: Mrs. Meyer's products
We, too, use the seventh generation powder in our dishwasher, so I don't have any suggestions.
Mrs. Meyers clean day stuff is super smelly. But we do like the counter spray better than using baking soda on our counters; I don't know why. So that is the only product of her's we use. Otherwise I try to make my cleaners.

DH says the dishes look really good, better than with Seventh Generation (which worked but sometimes left spots and never really got bottles or things with greasy leftover clean).
