Hello! And Question about Childcare

Hi there!  This is my first time on the Northern Cal bump board.  I'm a transplant from Orange County, currently living in Martinez.  We got transferred up here for my husbands job in September.  I have been a SAHM since our daughter was born due to getting laid off when I went back to work a year ago. 

My old jobs corporate office is in Brisbane and we are meeting on Friday about a possible job for me. I am super excited about this opportunity but now scared because I've never given a thought to child care. 

Can you ladies give me recs on any places that I could look?  I'm thinking of having her in a day care close to my work but am also open to looking in the East Bay area.

Welcome!!  Woo - Martinez to Brisbane - that will be quiet a commute!!  For local - Martinez DC options... call the Contra Costa Childcare Council - they can send you a list of licensed in-home and center DCs in your zip code.

Brisbane is in San Mateo County and they also have a 4C. They can help you find daycare.
