I have a BLVD that Michelle has outgrown the shoulder straps....right now I'm using the Fisher Price Safe Voyage....she has lots of room left to grow. They dont sell those anymore so I'm in the market for a new convertible. I really dont wanna pay alot of money for a seat that isnt gonna be used for more than 2 yrs.
I wanna keep her in the convertible as long as possible before switching over to a high back booster. Will the Nautilus shoulder straps be high enough for awhile.
It would be so much nicer if you could find a real high back booster that has a 5point harness option.
Re: A nautilus for a tall child?
The Safe Voyage was made by Britax and uses the same shell as the Blvd, so I'm not sure how she can have a lot of room left in the Safe Voyage but not in the Blvd. Did you raise the headwings on the BLVD as high as they can go? Is one more reclined than the other in your car???
The Marathon won't last as long as the Nautilus. DD has both. She's in the top slot of the Marathon. She has one slot to go in the Nautilus. She's close to 43" right now.
The Nautilus is a 5 pt harness that converts to high back booster and then regular booster. I don't know what you mean about finding a "real" one.
