Tonight may be my last night of stims (today is my 10th day).
my protocol has been 300IU of Follistim - I have the 900IU cartriges, so 3 doses per cartridge. I will need to open a new cratridge for my dose tonight, but then I will have 2/3 of it left over. Can I save it for a future cycle if need be?
eta: same for Lupron - I won't be using the whole vial. Can I save it?
Re: Leftover Follistim and Lupron
You can save the Follistim- refrigerated until expiration date on the box.
The Lupron expires 30 days after opening.
I believe that opened follistim is only good for 30 days, so it wouldn't make it to future cycles, kwim?
not sure about the lupron though, I didn't have any left over.
If follistim is like gonalF then it's only good for short period of time once it has been opened. gonalF is 28 days after opening.
un-opened until expiration date

This. If I need to do a 10th day of stims, I am using 150iu's from a cartridge leftover from October. My RE said it is fine as long as it has stayed refrigerated. If i don't need it for this cycle, he advised to dispose of it (as my next cycle won't be until April and he felt that was too long).
