I have been spotting for a week, and went to the ob yesterday and then had an ultrasound and they found that I have a subchorionic hemmorage. They have put me on bedrest for 3 weeks=has anyone had one of these before? I started doing some reading online and of course freaked myself out, but would love to know the good and the bad from any of you ladies who have had one. Thanks
Re: subchorionic hemmorage?
it happened to me. and in 3 weeks the hemmorage was nothing more than a small tear. :]
Thank you so much. It really means a lot.
Definitely scary. Thinking of you and wishing you the best as well! Let me know how your next ultrasound goes!
Same here, it's was found at 9 weeks and didn't go away until around 20 weeks i was on bedrest and bleed the WHOLE time. I did go on to have other complications and i do have a small tear in my placenta from it but for the most part, i'm 35 weeks and counting so woohoo!
I bled for 5 days (no bright red, all old, brown blood) and haven't since. That was the first week of December.
I had a large one early on - the doctor said it was 4x the size of the baby. I never had any spotting but was told to take it easy - no exercise, sex etc. By my 12 week ultrasound it had shrunk considerably and I'm not positive but I think it was gone by my 18 week ultrasound...either that or the doctors weren't concerned about it at all anymore. Everything is going smoothly right now.
Good luck!!
