I am currently pregnant and my HCG levels have increased from 44 to 542 in 4 days. I had a M/C at 9 weeks with triplets in 2008 and was curious if the rapid increase could mean multiples again. All I've been able to find is info on levels not increasing fast enough. My doctor didn't tell me the levels in 2008 so I don't have a comparison and my current doctor won't fax the OB/GYN the lab results for a week so I am getting nothing from them.
Re: HCG levels in multiple pregnancies
were the triplets spontaneous or IF treament? Is this pg IF treatment? Just asking b/c if you know you have a chance for multiples- then you do have a chance... but the betas really mean nothing.
there are just as many women with one baby and high betas as there are twins with low betas, etc. My singleton and twin betas were almost the same.
either way- congrats! let us know after your first US!!
