IVF at or above age 40 success stories please

If you had a successfull IVF at (or above) the age of 40 would you mind sharing your journey/success with me?

What was your factor/reason for IVF?

What was your protocol?

How many at retrieval?

How many transferred and frozen?

How many IVF's before BFP?

How many did you transfer (or as they would say on the news, how many did you transplant :)

How many babies?

    I am 38 but with a dx of DOR it made my success rate that of a 40plus year old.

    Reason - Diminished ovarian reserve. 

    Protocol - we tried several but the one that worked was estrogen priming antagonist

    Retrieved - 6 eggs retrieved

    Transferred -  We transferred 3 none were frozen

    IVFs before BFP - 2

    For my failed cycles we transferred 2 each cycle 

    One healthy baby

    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    What was your factor/reason for IVF? MFI 

     What was your protocol? Long Lupron

    How many at retrieval? First pregnancy - 11. Second pregnancy - 11. Third pregnancy - 22.

    How many transferred and frozen? First pregnancy - 4 transferred, none frozen.  Second pregnancy - 4 transferred, none frozen.  Third pregnancy - 2 transferred, 5 frozen.

    How many IVF's before BFP? - Got a BFP every IVF cycle.

    How many babies? I lost my first baby because of chromosome issues, but the other two pregnancies resulted in one baby each.  I now have 2 beautiful daughters.  I'm over 40.  And I'm going back in a few months to have a FET.

    We did IVF becasue dh has MFI.  My egg quality was good but I don't respond to the meds well so I never made a lot of eggs.

    1st pregnancy- I don't remember the protocol- I was so numb I just did what they told me and wasn't on the nest so I had no knowledge of the details.   2nd pregnancy- micro lupron antagonist protocol

    I did 4 IVF cycles.  1st cycle-  6 eggs (BFN).  2nd cycle 4 eggs (BFP- ds) 3rd cycle cancelled- poor response.  4th cycle- 7 eggs (BFP)

    Transferred 3 eggs, 3 eggs and this cycle I did 4 eggs.  None left over to freeze.

    2nd IVF at age 39 (2 months before I turned 40) - I got pregnant with my son
    1st IVF at age 42 (43 in 4 months)   I got pregnant with this one.  I hope I give hope to those over 40.  I'll be 43 soon! 

    One baby stuck each time.  No multiples for me!

    3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
    IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again
