Day 1 of Potty Training - AGAIN...

This is so frustrating. I am enthusiastic with dd, but nothing is working. She had 3 cups of juice, a cup of milk... Fruit, food, cereal... All this morning. Again, she will sit on toilet but will NOT go. She is still holding it. We did this for 6 hours.

Patience Mommy, patience. We will go again after her nap - and tomorrow - and the day after. She has to do it sometime.

The first day is very frustrating and the second day was still frustrating, but we saw a little progress. The third day was better, but it was not until the fourth day that she finally figured it out. Stick with it it is rewarding in the end. Day 1 -we were cleaning up pee and poop off the floor everywhere and her underwear. She would fight us to sit on the potty and would not go when placed on it. Day 2- she would tell us peepee EVERYTIME she was going, but not before. She would still fight us to sit on the potty. Day3 - we bought a new padded seat potty. She loved it and once we took it out of the box she sat down and peed on it herself. She now had an interest in the potty. She would still tell us peepee as she was peeing. We would rush her to the potty and sit her down to finish peeing. She no longer fought us. Day 4 - She took herself to the potty and peed withonly 1-2 accidents
