An update..T&P please

So we go in tomorrow for an US. The nurse said everything looked good from the ER but I was worried about still spotting brown and having a missed?miscarriage. Today I have some pain but it comes and goes. I am worried it is cramps. I still have my sickness feeling in the afternoon and at night. So who knows....time will tell.

ok, my dear, I think I might be able to help you feel better!!

 

I have had brown spotting (started red, lasted about 1 hour, then turned brown and has been brown ever since) off and on (more on than off) for the last 4 weeks.  My dr has me coming in every week for an u/s. Everything has been fine.  I was just there on 12/30 and FINALLY got an answer as to why this is happening.  He said the bleeding is coming from the outside of my cervix and will not harm the baby whatsoever. He said during pregnancy, the blood vessels come to the surface of the cervix, and something as simple as coughing or sneezing can cause them to bleed. He said its no more harmful than blood in your tissue when you blow your nose!

 

Maybe the same is true for you! He gave me a real scientific name for what my cervix is called, but I can't remember it! *LOL*
