Can you get PPD

a couple months after having the baby? Was ok when I had her but having a hard time the past few weeks (not with her but with myself and my DH). My 2010 didn't start off well.

Yes. Technically it can start anywhere up to 18 mo PP, as your body struggles to regulate your hormones back to pre-pg levels.

I just went to the dr 2 weeks ago and my baby is almost 6 months old. You know my doc switched my BC too because she wasn't sure if it was PPD, depression or from the PMS hormones. I feel better from the new BC, I'm on Yaz and I started on Cymbalta too but that takes a few weeks to kick in.

I have gone from Estrostep to Yaz before. Had issues, was put on the ring and then we decided to stop using BC and get pregnant. When I was put on the ring back then I didn't have issues. I am back on the ring and maybe my body is reacting differently due to all those changes and hormones from being pg. I will def tell the doc when they call me back.
