1) I would think you could just wipe them down with a wet rag, no?
2) I never rinse. I use vinegar/water solution for my floors and my cleaning ladies use Murphy's oil. They don't rinse, but they will wipe the floors dry after they mop.

I've noticed Pine Sol leaves a serious film on anything I clean it with so I'd be inclined to rinse it a bit with a wet mop. I use Murphy's Oil on my (wood) floors.
For the vinyl couches, go to the dollar store and buy that stuff called "Awesome". My best friend's DH worked at a car detail shop and said HANDS DOWN that stuff was their secret weapon. I've never rinsed my floors after mopping. I can't even begin to imagine how you'd even do that.

not sure about the rinsing- i would think not.
I don't use either one because they are not antibacterial cleaners. I use liquid lysol to mop with- in the kitchen and bathrooms.
Murphy's oil on the hardwood
I never even though about whether pine-sol was antibacterial. I'll look for the Lysol brand next time I buy... thanks!
The couches you could use a mixture of soap and water to wipe them down with.
Floors: I use Mr Clean(antibacterial lemon scent) and I don't rinse.
