middle name for Parker??

Hey Ladies!

 

I'm looking for some help.  DH and I have decided on the name Parker as of right now for our little baby boy.  DH said we could choose one of my family names for the middle name since obviously the baby will have his family name for the last name.  Just seems like none of the family names are really working:

Dad: Raymond (Ray)

Dad's middle name: Rodger

Grandfather: Charlie

Great Grandfather: Roland

My maiden name should have been: Jakofich (spelling?) but my grandparents eloped and their parents forced them to change their last names so that no one would know their nationality background or something like that.  long story.  anyways, So we thought about using Jacob

The other idea we had was taking Ray and Charlie and making it Rylie. 

My mothers side is literally all girls and the family boy name is: Hazelett

 

We are up for creative ideas!!  Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!  THANKS!!

dont think that any of your family names mesh with Parker.

Parker Ryan

Parker Cole

Parker Blake

Parker Owen

Parker Raymond (on second glance, this one could work of your family names)

I like Parker Ray, but I don't think any of the others flow well.

The only other thing I have come up with so far is Parker Allen.

I LOVE the name Parker (for obvious reasons...HEHE).  Our ds is Parker Nathaniel! 

 Out of your choices, I like Parker Ray.

Other choices that we considered was Parker Ryan, Parker Andrew and Parker Michael.  Good LUCK!!!

I like Parker Raymond and Parker Charles. Others that aren't on your family name list but I think sound nice with Parker: Michael, Daniel, Samuel

You could also use Parker as a middle name and just call him Parker.  I love the name Roland Parker....

 A thought.

I don't really think any of them work... and this is the reason:  They all have at least one R somewhere- most of them at the beginning.  My nephew is Parker Robert, and (although I love him to pieces) it bothers me that he has so many Rs close together in his name- it doesn't flow well at all, IMO.

If we have a boy (team green!) we are naming him Parker Douglas. Douglas is my dad's name. With the fn Parker, I like a 2 syllable mn.  Having that said, of your choices, Charles may be the best, but what is your husband's name? Maybe that goes better? I also like your idea Parker Jacob. I think that goes pretty well.  I'm a big fan of middle names with meaning, so I would go with some sort of family name, which it sounds like you are doing.
