Anyone else experiencing this?

At least once a day, I get a burning sensation in my nipples, which radiates from the center of the nipple out. Typically it's just one or the other although occasionally both at the same time. It comes and goes... and it comes on suddenly and leaves just as suddenly. I've tried applying heat to it quickly and that seems to help but then again, if I don't the pain goes away on its own in about the same amount of time.

Anyone else experiencing this? I told my Doctor about it. He said it just has to do with horomoes and didn't offer any advice on helping it.

Any suggestions?

Sounds a little like letdown?  But for me, that felt more like an intense tingling, not really painful.  Do you have any leaking at the same time?  Applying pressure usually worked for me -- just crossing my arms across my chest and squeezing for several seconds would usually stop it.

lightning boob?  similar to lightning crotch.  i get that occasionally.  but for me it's less burning than it is sharp quick pain that disappears just as quickly. 

it also could be a precursor to bf'ing, like what you'll experience with milk letdown.

I've had it just this week.  It's odd but I don't think there's anything I can do to fix it.

Mine did that during my second tri when I got into cold water to go swimming. I'm honestly at the point where "weird" pains are just a normal part of life. LOL

my dr. said it was normal.  just the body getting ready for nursing.  but it hurts!  she said as long as there are no lesions i am fine.  ask at your next appt just in case.
