Finally home!!

Finally after 14 weeks in the NICU, we were able to bring Ava home on Monday!!  (Just got my laptop back, sorry for the delay in posting)  She is on oxygen, apnea monitor and nebulizer.  I'm very proud of my baby girl, she was born 16 weeks early so I thought for sure we would be in the NICU past her due date, but in fact she came home 2 weeks early!   Her doctor from the NICU said she really is a miracle (as are ALL babies)...being 23 weeks and somehow by the grace of God managed to escape all the major complications a normal 23 weeker might face.

I want to thank you ladies...I may not always post, but I always look to this board for answers/advice.

OMG I am sooooooo happy for you guys! DD is truley a miracle and a fighter! God bless you and your family. I am sooo happy to hear your wonderful news. Post pics I would love to see her!

I'm in tears for you right now. So, so happy! I hope you are all doing well, Cooper is on all of those as well (although he thinks he is ready to be done with the oxygen). Email me anytime! This lockdown stuff is tough, but so worth it for a healthy baby.  Congratulations, and welcome home sweet Ava!!
