Just started my period. 6 wk checkup is Monday. WWYD?

I'm 99% sure my period started today and this isn't residual pp bleeding.

My 6 week check-up appointment is on Monday afternoon.

Should I call and reschedule the appt? It's important for me to get checked out eventually because I had really bad tearing and hemorrhaging after delivery but  I can't go in there with my period! I guess theoretically I *could* but I sure as hell don't want to!

    Worst thing that can happen is you go and they reschedule you.

    Call and ask what they think you should do. Most likely it'll be a reschedule.

    Well, I just called the Dr's office and asked my TMI little question, LOL. She had to ask one of his nurses what I should do and she said since your body can respond differently to periods postpartum to wait it out over the weekend in case it's a short period or just a false alarm type of deal. But if I'm still menstruating Monday morning to call and reschedule the appointment for a later date.

    Ah, I just love bein' a lady sometimes. =P

    I was on my period at my 6 wk check up.  It's no big deal.
