My DD was never really a child that put much in her mouth, she has littlest pet shop. However the markers would be all over everything else!
Abigail Grace: 3/11/08 and Joshua Alan: 2/2/13
5losses from 7/4/10 through 11/22/11 - “When the world says, “Give up,” Hope whispers, ‘Try it one more time."♥
I think it depends on the kid. DS still puts everything in his mouth and can't be trusted around small objects. DD has almost never put anything in her mouth. She has lots of tiny toys (Little Pet Shop, Polly Pocket, etc) that she knows to keep away from the babies.
DD never put things in her mouth. DS does. It just depends on the kid. No way would I leave her alone with markers though - I can just imagine the mess now.
DS will be two in a couple days, and nearly everything goes in his mouth. A room with markers unattended would mean I would have an interesting mural on the walk and on his person. Beads would be everywhere including in his stomach and the little people would be everywhere and he may be gnawing on them. HTH
LOL....Christmas day my DD opened a gift with alot of small hair clips...the first thing my ds said was "Can I eat em?"...he'll be 3 in June...so .....that being said..he has to be watched..carefully.
