Does your 2 year old...

still put things in their mouth?  Not all the time, but would they be safe sharing a bedroom with beads, markers and Littlest Pet Shop?

  • I probably wouldn't do it. My daughter still puts stuff in her mouth. And markers are a danger zone with mine, at least!
  • Mine didn't start until she turned 2!

  • My DD was never really a child that put much in her mouth, she has littlest pet shop. However the markers would be all over everything else!

  • still puts stuff in her mouth. not as bad as before, but i definitely wouldn't trust her.
  • DD would swallow the beads, color on the walls with the markers, and stick the Littlest Pet Shop toys down the air vents. lol

  • DD doesn't put things in her mouth anymore, but I still wouldn't want her around little things like beads or messy things like markers unsupervised.

  • my DS is almost 3 and he still tends to put things in his mouth.  So, forme that would be a no go!
  • I think it depends on the kid.  DS still puts everything in his mouth and can't be trusted around small objects.  DD has almost never put anything in her mouth.  She has lots of tiny toys (Little Pet Shop, Polly Pocket, etc) that she knows to keep away from the babies.

  • DS doesn't put anything in his mouth anymore.  I'd feel totally safe having him around those things.

  • DD never put things in her mouth.  DS does.  It just depends on the kid.  No way would I leave her alone with markers though - I can just imagine the mess now.
  • DS will be two in a couple days, and nearly everything goes in his mouth.  A room with markers unattended would mean I would have an interesting mural on the walk and on his person.  Beads would be everywhere including in his stomach and the little people would be everywhere and he may be gnawing on them.  HTH
  • LOL....Christmas day my DD opened a gift with alot of small hair clips...the first thing my ds said was "Can I eat em?"...he'll be 3 in June...so .....that being said..he has to be watched..carefully.
