Hey, if you're researching mattresses, I'd highly recommend the natural latex mattresses from IKEA!  They are the only affordable EF mattress I have found.  Bc latex is naturally fire retardant they don't have the same chemicals that traditional mattresses do.  We got one for our bed which makes me happy b/c of all the co-sleeping we do, and we'll get one for DC's bed when she transitions.

Thanks for the rec!  We're trying to find one ASAP though so I don't know if that will work.  Plus it's a LOT more than we have to spend right now   I'll try to remember that for the future though!
