How does drinking affect temps?

I'm pretty sure I'm out since my temp dropped this morning.  I had to take it early b/c the dog woke me and it was only 97.3, but I used the temp corrector which makes it look a little better.

If I had some wine tonight, would that make my temp artificially high tomorrow?  I don't want to test if it isn't accurate.  I have one test in the drawer so I don't want to blow it.

    I have no idea, and I'm not a pee pusher, but I kinda really want you to go POAS.

    Also, it kind of looks like you generally have a fairly significant all the way below coverline temp drop when AF is coming....I don't see that in your chart here, but I could see why you would want to wait to temp tomorrow since it seems to come around Day 12/13/14 for you.

    I know - me too.  I'm at work with no access to pee sticks so it definitely has to wait.  I really wasn't liking my temp situation this morning though.  Damn dog.

    Hmmm....that's what I was afraid of.  Looks like I'll wait until Saturday then just in case.  I'm not planning on drinking tons, but I'll be pissed if that's the only reason my temp is high.  Thanks!

    Well my unadjusted temp was 97.3 this morning.  There's no coverline this cycle since I just manually put in the O date for the IUI.  I would guess it's around 97.6 though.  So yeah looks like I'm pretty much out now that I think about it.  Well I just get to drink more tonight then.

    Yeah, I was going with 97.6 based off the temps you had there.

    I'll still hold out hope for you that today's temp was just really messed up because of the dog. 

    <----doesn't chart but had to take a 6 month class on it to get married in the Church. ::blocks out discussion that the late 50s couple teaching the class had about how discussing her CM every day brought them closer together::

    drinking definitely increases my temp so i usually don't temp the morning after b/c it's always abnormally high.
