I get to go to the game. DH said he'll stay home and let me go, and he says he could use a night in. So my dad and I are going to the game! 

I get my love of hockey from my dad. He used to play, and he took me to lots of North Stars games as a kid. It'll be fun to go to the wild game with him.

    it means I have to push the pioneer woman's steak bites off until dinner tomorrow...because Dad's buying dinner before the game, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make :)

    Fun! Who are they playing? I have been to two or three games at the Exel center, and it is a lot of fun. Definitely a good venue. 

    I have also made those bacon cracker things, and they are delicious.

    they're playing the Kings. :) I LOVE the X. One of the best arenas in the NHL for sure! And the NYE game is always a blast!

    If you ever make it to another game, let me know...we have season tickets!

    I am partial to the Pepsi Center, myself :P I used to go the Avs v Wild games in MN when I was in college as it was the closest arena (I went to Cornell in Iowa). DH and I were thinking of going back for homecoming next year and then seeing a game, so if that pans out, I will let you know!
