OWT +NYE=BFP (ticker inside)

Hello my Lovelies! I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and share an OWT that my Nanny (grandma) used to share with me. Every year on NYE we would take a $1 bill and bury it in the yard somewhere (before midnight). On NYD you had to go out and dig it back up and save it for the following year to repeat. This was supposed to be a good luck/omen for prosperity in the New Year and all years to come....sooooo, a few of us cousins were discussing this and decided that we could do the same thing with say a pacifier or cloth diaper or maybe even a St Gerard medal? We think it should work the same right? I know some people don't believe in OWT but I kind of liked the idea and thought I'd share. I know as a TTCALer I did a ton of other things to try to get pg that were way more difficult than this. Anyway, that is all. I hope to see you all on PgAL soon!

Holy jeez, how are you past 30 weeks already!?!  I love when "grads" stop back to visit!  How are you doing?  How were your holidays?

Thanks for sharing!  I also like the one about writing down all the bad things that happened to you that year & tossing them in a fire at midnight....might be doing both this year.  I'll take all the luck I can get!

Time has really gone by a lot quicker than I expected it would. I hope you had a great holiday as well. DH and I did enjoy ours and got a lot of stuff for the baby, which is nice.

I love to stop by and catch up with you all too, I just don't do it as often as I would like to. I don't want to upset anyone. I do lurk tho
