I think I am going to find a new OB/midwife.

I go to an offcie that did consist of one OB/Gyn and a midwife.  I saw the midwife during DS's pregnancy and she delivered DS.  She was so sweet and we really liked her.  Well, she was let go right before my 6 week pp visit.  I have made my first appt with the Ob/gyn for the 22nd, but I think I am going to start the hunt for an office midwives too. 

The only crappy thing is that my insurance has changed where I can deliver and will probably change again in the next 6 months.  It is going to be a hasstle either way.

Were you the one who posted about how this midwife got let go due to the doctor saying she was inadequate or something? Didn't you write a letter about it?

Good luck on the new search. You should definitely be comfortable with whomever you choose.

Good luck finding someone you love.  I hate dealing with ins. changes.  I need to see about what my new ins. covers...  *sigh*  Not that it matters quite yet.

GL!  Having the right provider makes all the difference in the world.  I totally sympathize on the insurance issues.  Mine changed some of the plan details when I was PG with DD and it was a mess to get straightened out.

No that was not me.  I really never heard what the circumstances were.  I would guess that the midwife was stealing all the patients because everyone loved her!
