TTC After a Loss

Can anyone feel when they are ovulating?!

I swear last month I felt a little pain a few days before I was supposed to be ovulating (per my calendar). I felt it again when I woke up this morning, calendar says I'm supposed to ovulate on Monday. BD just in case and probably will every other day until next week.  But just wondering if anyone else had this, what the timing was (i.e.before, after, during ovulation) and if anyone had any pregnancy stories as a result.

  • I can sometimes feel  it- but no pregnancy story to tell as a result.

  • I sometimes think I feel something, but it's probably more like Oreos gas than O-Pain.

  • i felt some o cramping pains yesterday. so been bding and praying that this is our month.  i only started noticing them, i think it is because of ttc, that i have become more in tune with my body and paying attention to it.  good luck to you.
  • I think you're feeling your follicle before you O.  I feel it on one side or other the 2-3 days before I O and u/s confirms my "predicted" side (since I'm being monitored by my RE on Clomid).
  • I can feel a little bit of discomfort for me that isn't my number one indicator though I have a sympathetic nerve issue in my left leg that acts up more then normal when I am about to ovulate....I don't have a preg story as a result. With DS I wasn't in tune with my body like now and with our loss I hadn't payed much attention because when i got KU I had given up and wasn't paying attention like I was prior. but like you said been bding every other day in hopes to get ktfu sooner then later.

I get the same thing! Mine switches from side to side. I assume it depends on which side I'm ovulating on. Or I'm just nuts.

  • I could have sworn I felt sharp pain like twinges yesterday, and I did get a + OPK yesterday, so I took it as O pain. I have felt the same type of pain before, but actually took notice this cycle because of TTC.  It may be a mind over matter thing, but I will take it for what it is.
  • This sounds weird but when I was nuvaring, every month like clockwork, I'd feel something and then when I went off it and was charting, sure enough that was the day O d...I get really quick twinges that feels like something tearing...sorry TMI, but I'm guessing I'm feeling O

Ok I read that it could be ovulation and then read something else saying it's the follicle growth before ovulation, so either way BDing every other day! Hopefully this cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crossing fingers, toes, and anything else I can find to cross!!!

  • Me too and when I am O on my right side my right leg kills me it runs from my ovary to my toes. It's awful but it is a good sign that I am ovulating.
  • Yes, I always have pretty severe AF-like cramping during O.  It's annoying, but helpful at the same time!

I feel this every month. Some tenderness in the ovary area for about 24-36 hours pre-O

  • I can always feel it.  Unfortunately...no pg because of it.  DH has moderate OATS and I just can't seem to get the timing perfect...IVF in March/April...here we go again!

By any chance do you have RSD in your legs?
