Re: Tylenol Sinus OK?

  • Check each individual ingredient on the box. I think anything that is a decongestant is not OK for some reason.

  • I would ask your Dr. on that one. Mine said there are very few cold medicines that are safe to take.
  • Call your OB. Mine would say "no."
  • My doctor told me that all Tylenol products are safe - I even asked if he meant sinus, allergy, etc. and he specifically said yes.  Of course, you should definitely check with your own doctor.

I also HIGHLY recommend getting a neti pot - it helps your sinuses tremendously if you use one daily, and is 100% safe.

  • My doctor told me that its okay for me to take.  But I would call your doctor. Every doctor has different opinions.

  • My doc said it was.  I've taken it with both pregnancies.

  • My doc said it was fine!
  • I have REALLY bad sinuses and take sinus medication consistently throughout cold and flu season so I specifically asked my doc and he said that Tylenol Cold and Sinus was fine.  He did recommend that I try to use other methods (such as the netti pot) for minor sinus congestion, just because the goal is LESS medication.  But he said if it got too bad that I could definitely tak Tylenol brand c & s meds with no problem.
