please please please don't stop in the middle of a hill when it's snowing. you'll never get traction again and everyone will be stuck. if you don't know that, move somewhere that doesn't snow!
but i think what you're saying is you hate people - at least senseless people - not actually snow. snow is pretty at least!! it's the people who are stupid!! :-D
It never snows here... so I would be that person you're talking about, Joes! haha

And for those out of staters that don't know how to drive in the snow need to learn before making an appearance in a state that recieves a lot of snow.. I've almost been in many accidents because they can't drive in it. Not that it's all their fault, but at least learn some tips before going out!!

b. I had to shift - one of the reasons, sadly, that we no longer have a manual.
Also, a note for all those with newer cars, turn off your stability control when going up the hill - a friend had this but didn't realize she needed to do that, and lets just say we were going nowhere for awhile. I HATE driving in snow...

I hate snow too. Why do you think I love the desert so much? BUT at least DH and I both came from other parts of the country so we know how to drive in snow and aren't idiots when it comes to that.

I hear ya. People lose all common sense when it starts snowing.
Papa is not included in this rant cause she has an excuse.
this is seriously true - even in places it snows all the time! even when it's not even a major storm or even sticking to the roads and just flurrying! as soon as a few flakes start flying around it's like the bulk of drivers just panic.

Exactly. It never fails here - the first snow fall of the year we have major pile-ups of accidents. And there can be like, 1/4 of an inch of snow on the ground. People just go insane. They start either driving 2MPH or speeding to get where they're going, slam on their brakes when they slide, etc. It's maddening.
