Im glad to know im not the only one who couldnt figure it out.  You make the poll under the poll section, which is easy enough. 

If you cant figure out how to get it to post, like was my problem, here is how it works.  

Type [poll] in the main compose section then it should post.  (Again, this is assuming youre having the same issues I did)
